Corporate Writing

Following the successful 2007 Secrets of the Media workshop for public affairs and PR practitioners, Claire works with publicity departments to identify their best stories. She can lead workshops or offer individual client sessions and teach PR departments how to package information that editors will want to commission and journalists will want to write.

Her clients include Classic Blue, NSW Aboriginal Land Council, National E-Health Transition Authority (NEHTA) and NSW Fire Brigades.

Aside from facilitating, Claire is also available to do corporate writing, including blogs, web content, brochure and report writing. She is known for her clear persuasive style and an ability to bring out the narrative in any story. She also works as a freelance magazine editor and sub-editor.

What people say

‘Claire was well-prepared with excellent notes and gave a clear calm presentation.’

Editing and Mentorship

Claire knows how tough it is to finish a manuscript. She worked on Last Seen in Lhasa for years before she felt brave enough to show a chapter to an agent. She’s made the mistakes and gone through the re-writes. She did it alone, but often wished there was someone she could call on.

Claire now works as a consulting/writing coach with writers at all stages. Whether you’re at the beginning of a project and developing an idea, or have a full-length travel or non-fiction memoir, she can advise on structure, craft, voice and how to revise and edit. She is also available to answer questions on how to get published and market your book. If you’re feeling overwhelmed or struggling with writer’s block, she can offer strategies on how to keep motivated.

Claire works with writers in person, via phone or via email. She tailors each session to the individual and draws on a range of creative tools, including meditation, intuitive writing and journaling, to help you stay inspired. For her rates and packages, please email Claire directly.
